Guide for Wall Preparation and Vinyl Installation

1. Importance of Wall Preparation

To ensure a successful vinyl installation and its durability, it is essential that the wall is in optimal condition. Below are the key steps to properly prepare the surface:

• Wall Cleaning: Ensure the wall is free of dust, grease, and moisture. Use a dry cloth or a cleaner with isopropyl alcohol to remove persistent dirt.

• Smooth Surface: Textured walls can make adhesion difficult. If necessary, sand the surface or apply a primer coat.

• Cured Paint: If the wall has been recently painted, wait 2 to 3 weeks before installing the vinyl to allow the paint to fully cure.

• Avoid Moisture: Do not install vinyl on walls with moisture, condensation, or leaks, as these can affect adhesion.

2. Types of Installation

Depending on the type of vinyl and the surface, the following installation method is recommended:

A. Dry Installation

This is the most common method for smooth surfaces and removable vinyl.

• Remove the protective backing from the adhesive.

• Place the vinyl on the wall and press with a rubber spatula from the center to the edges to avoid bubbles.

B. Heat Installation (For textured walls or special vinyls)

• Apply heat with a heat gun using a sponge to mold the vinyl to the surface.

• Use a rubber spatula and a sponge to press and secure the vinyl into the wall texture.

3. Factors to Consider

• Durability: If you are looking for a long-term solution, choose high-adhesion vinyl.

• Removability: For temporary installations, select removable vinyls that do not damage the paint.

• Location: For outdoor or humid areas, opt for vinyl resistant to adverse weather conditions.

4. Final Recommendations

• Do not apply vinyl in extremely humid or cold environments.

• If the installation is large, it is advisable to seek professional assistance.

-Accepted File Formats: .JPG & .PDF (single page)
-Make your artwork in the exact size that you are ordering. No bleed. No crop marks. 
-All fonts must be outlined. If using Photoshop, please provide a flattened file only. 
-We suggest 150 dpi resolution at 100% of the final print size.
-.JPG is more likely to give richer color saturation, mostly visible with black color.
-CMYK only (We do not print Pantone / 5th / Spot / RGB)
PLEASE NOTE: If the file does not come to size, is corrupt or otherwise unfit to print, it will be put on hold till further notice until it is sent correctly (either by size or resolution).

Shipping Policies and Restrictions

SHIPPING:
If an order is uploaded on a business day BEFORE 3 p.m. PST, it will be shipped on the following business day. (If there is a problem with the file or the shipping payment has not been made, it will not be shipped until either payment has been made or the file is ready to print.)

SHIPPING CHARGE:
Due to the large physical size of products some orders may have higher shipping charges. Unfortunately there is little we can do as we are bound by the rules and limitations set forth by our shipping company.

SHIPPING TIME:
Once your order is shipped via ground service, you should receive it within 2 to 5 business days.

GROUP SHIPPING EXPLANATION:
Group shipping is available for jobs which have a MATCHING product category, turnaround time, shipping address, and shipping method. Group shipping discounts are applied to items with shipping fees of LESSER value.
Note: If you decide to cancel the item with the highest shipping fee value within a group ship, your group shipping discount will vary.

EXPLANATION FOR NEXTDAY TURNAROUND SERVICE:
All the times are based on normal business days, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.
Turnaround time begins once your file is uploaded.
If your file is placed on hold, the turnaround time will begin after you select 'Run As Is' or after a re-uploaded file is received.
If you request a design proof, the turnaround time will begin right after you approve the design.

STORE PICK-UP:
If an order is uploaded on a business day BEFORE 3PM PST, then it will be available for pick-up on the following business day after 4:30 p.m. PST. (If there is a problem with the file, it won't be ready for pick-up the next day.) You will be notified via e-mail if the order is ready earlier.

SAME DAY ORDER:
1.    Shipping Orders: If an order is placed and a file is uploaded on a business day BEFORE 12 noon PST, then it will be shipped the same day. (If there is a problem with the file, it won't be shipped until the next day.)

2.    Store Pick-up:
If an order is placed and file is uploaded on a business day BEFORE 12 noon PST, then it will be available for pick-up on the same day after 4:00 p.m. PST. (If there is a problem with the file, it won't be ready for pick-up the same day.) You will be notified via E-mail if the order is ready earlier.
